Reiki is the Japanese word for universal life force energy. Reiki Healing is using this energy as a complementary therapy that transcends cultural, political and religious boundaries.
It complements and enhances all types of medical treatment and it can also act as path to personal and spiritual growth.

Reiki practitioners have received both thorough training in this ancient healing art and Reiki “attunements” which raise and accelerate their energy flow. The practitioner provides a Reiki treatment by the gentle act of “laying on of hands” with the intention to be of assistance. During a Reiki session, the person being treated is not “healed” by the practitioner. The person’s healing comes from the life force flowing through the Reiki practitioner.

Reiki can be performed on a client while he/she is lying down, sitting or standing. Client and practitioner remain fully clothed at all times. There are no side effects or contraindications with Reiki; it is non-intrusive and safe for all ages. The Reiki practitioner will place his hands gently on top of your clothing over key positions on your body.

A 1-hour Reiki treatment is the physiological equivalent of 3-4 hours sleep, making it one of the most advanced, natural stress reduction therapies available.
