THE MINDFUL MANAGER
WORKSHOP
Did you know? Mindfulness is recommended by NICE for workplace wellbeing.
NICE is the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence and is a highly respected independent public body in the UK that evaluates health interventions based on robust scientific evidence.
NICE’s recommendation gives mindfulness credibility, encourages evidence-based implementation, and helps employers meet their duty of care while improving employee wellbeing and performance.
This endorsement gives mindfulness legitimacy in professional settings, distinguishing it from unproven wellness trends.
Employers have a legal and ethical responsibility to safeguard employee mental health. Implementing NICE-endorsed mindfulness interventions shows compliance with best practice in health and wellbeing, supporting risk management and employee retention.
"Thanks for delivering an excellent Mindfulness workshop as part of our Leadership and Management Academy.
The feedback has been wonderful and all Delegates highly recommend you, after receiving an inspiring workshop from you!"

You don’t want fluffiness for your teams? Good. Neither do I.
But I understand why that might be your perception of Mindfulness, given the widespread misrepresentation of it.
If you're looking for a robust introduction, let's chat about my Mindful Manager workshop, in which we explore core Mindfulness concepts and apply this learning to various aspects of leadership.
WHAT
A workshop with the objective of providing participants with an introductory yet robust understanding of what Mindfulness is and exploring how applying Mindfulness can help them become better leaders of self and others.
WHY
In these uncertain times, the skill of Mindfulness is more relevant than ever. Real benefits of mindfulness in the workplace include: reduced anxiety and stress, enhanced presence leading to better communication and more empathy, improved collaboration, better resourcefulness, and greater resilience. Positive outcomes that ripple through the organisation but also help outside of work.
HOW
This demystifying, participatory workshop draws on content from the gold-standard and most evidence-based Mindfulness programmes available: Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT). We will learn core Mindfulness concepts such as Automatic Pilot, Perception, Doing versus Being Mode of Mind, and The Stress Reaction Cycle, and apply this learning to various aspects of leadership.
"I can honestly say it was one of the most enjoyable courses I have attended. During my life I have had ups and downs. However, after your workshop I have begun to look at things very differently - I would like to say a big thank you."
